With an unending passion for motion graphics and video editing

The name’s Alexander Nielsen Barwell. I usually go by the name Axel Vei around the web, and I have been raised with internet culture surrounding me for most of my life, so I live on meme-turf. I’m set in Vejle, Denmark, but most mistake me for an american with how I speak English, so speedy communication on an international level is on the forefront!

Through my tools of the trade, I can bring to life even the simplest, static image. It takes a great amount of patience as well as a little bit of madness. I shape and reform objects to my own or my client's desire. Whether it's plain text, a logo, a background, everything in between, or even combined, I am ready to liven up anything that needs that magical media touch.

You can read about the various skills I have further down.

What do I dabble with?

2D motion graphics animation. Smooth motion is my specialty. Ensuring that your potential intro or ident gets the flare it deserves and then some. I'm rocking the Adobe Suite as my primary tools, but I'm more than happy to jump into a brand new cockpit to learn.

Video editing. I have an eye for a proper cut in most pieces of media that I can swiftly turn around to my clients. It tends to go hand in hand with my motion graphics animation skill as it allows me to supervise both aspects of this step in the production process. Combine that with my flexibility, communication speed and my social nature of constantly working closely with my clients or teams; not only is the process entertaining, but super efficient at the same time!

Voice acting. I am an energetic and very accommodating person who never gets tired of talking to friends, family, customers, etc. Through that I have developed a very presentable voice, fluent in Danish and English with an american accent, so I am ready to cater to a more international demographic, giving any explainer video a nice amount of spice for the better!

VFX. Am I very much in favor of implementing objects in the real world, making it look authentic. Need a poster within a sequence removed/replaced? A planet placed neatly in the sky? A VHS filter on a clip? Any clip you'd like put within the frame of a retro TV? How about adding a VHS filter to a sequence involving a replaced poster in front of an alien sky, all of which is played through a retro TV? Gimme the memo, and I'll get adventurous for both our benefits!
